My name is Brandon Cox and I am an attorney in Smithville, Tennessee. I practice in a small office with one other attorney, Sarah Cripps. She is my mentor and the sole reason I don’t make a fool of myself with regard to practicing. We do all types of legal work from criminal law to workers comp. I started practicing in November of 2013. Everyday is an adventure and a learning experience.
I’m married to Whitney Cox and we have one beautiful daughter, Cora. I strive daily to make them proud of me.
The goal of this blog is to be informative but also to spark discussions. Open debate is lacking in this country and I hope to do my part to bring it back. Disagreements are inevitable and so we should embrace them, learn from them, and hopefully develop a healthy view of compromise.
Otherwise I hope to keep up with legal trends and give a glimpse into the daily life of a small town attorney.
